Alberto V05 Extra Body Shampoo contains the 5 vitamin complex as well as collagen. I think it is one of the better mass market shampoos. This is a detergent shampoo so expect a lot of bubbles and lather. The texture is slightly thick and the scent is clean and neutral. It does a good job of cleansing and removing build-up. As it contains sulfate cleansing agents it can be a bit drying, especially on color-treated, dry or frizzy hair. The collagen protein helps to moisturize the hair.
It appears to have been recently reformulated and now contains less of the 5 vitamin complex. Before they were listed before the fragrance and preservatives and are now instead listed after them. A cost cutting measure perhaps?
It contains Collagen, Vitamins E, D, A, C and B5.
Packaged in a 15 bottle and sells for under $2.00 in most areas.
